Special education administrators seeking systems change through conflict resolution will examine four case studies, with expanding levels of influence on district-wide systems.  Case Study #1 sets a foundation of basic theoretical constructs and tools used in a family and NPS staff conflict resolution.  Case Study #2 expands in an examination of conflict resolution between special education directors and directors of NonPublic Schools.  Case Study #3 widens to an examination of conflict resolution between a district’s special and general education teachers.  Case Study #4 culminates in conflict resolution between the special education administrators of a high school district and the local mental health agency that had been in conflict without a signed MOU for over eight years.
